the stuff sack which comes with the bag is ridiculously large. the bag is light and easily compressed. well worth the price.

Read the fine print! This is a mummy bag. I ordered the same bag this past winter and got a semi-rectangular bag that I just love. This second bag showed up as a mummy (in the written description, but not the pic). For a summer weight bag, I much prefer the rectangular bag, but that is obviously personal preference. Zipper has propensity to snag but you just need to be careful. Stuff sack is too big for this bag. It will pack smaller if you get a different sack. Good value if you like mummy style bag.

Used this the first time this past weekend backpacking in the mountains near Tucson. Warmth wasn't an issue, as the night was fairly warm, but it was very comfortable -- I didn't overheat -- and it just feels yummy. Easy to get into its stuff sack and into my backpack. From the photo it didn't look as if it had a hood, but it seems to. Great for the price!

I stayed warm well below the 45 degree rating. This bag is so light and so small when packed,it is perfect for backpacking.
