This is a really nice tent. I bought it for comfortable car and short overnight hikes with 2 of my kids (9 and 4). It's totally the right size for this, comfortable, good headroom, nice design. Pack size and weight are spot on spec, maybe even a little lighter. My only critiques are the color of the fly is a little drab (that's a matter of personal preference of course), and that the tent could stand for a little more ventilation. If you stake out the fly tight, including the extra stakes, it helps a lot. Also the stakes provided are really HEAVY...worth investing in some lighter weight stakes.

I use this tent for rafting, car-camping and occasionally backpacking w/ my 6 year old daughter. It's a hotel for 2, workable for 3. The setup takes me about one minute from start to finish. Summer nights are great for stargazing w/o a fly. It's heavier than an "ultralight" should be, but TOTALLY worth the weight. Love it.

This product offers a solid shelter, which can sleep two average sized adults and two 80lb labs comfortably. It's light enough for backpacking but takes up a lot of pack space.

My 11 year son or myself use this tent on outings. He can set it up by himself. During a rainy outing, we just unclip the tent from under the fly and pack it up nice and dry. At the next stop we reverse the procedure. After spending a week-end in a wet tent, a fellow scoutmaster purchased the same tent.

I set this tent up and was very disappointed with the construction. The floor is not tight. The lower side walls dont lie flat, and are not tight. The sides sag. Overall, poor construction. Nothing like my other Sierra Designs tent. Somebody really messed up in designing this tent. I sent it to S.D. warranty dept, to see if they can fix it or send me another tent. If this is how the tent is supposed to function, then I'm not impressed! Would not recomment this tent at this point.

We go car camping (occasionally backpacking) but do not want heavy or bulky equipment. This simple rectangular design tent is designed for 3, but we are most comfortable as 2. I love having a door on each side and a vestibule under the fly on each side to put stuff that you don't want in the tent.

This tent is exactly what I love to use--light, simple to erect, strong enought to withstand some serious wind or snow, and loaded with mesh for uber-stargazing at night. Reasonably priced too.

I wanted a tent that was an all-mesh canopy and super easy to set up (such as in the dark). We prefer to camp in isolated locations as opposed to campgrounds so the privacy issue didn't concern us. Well, I got my wish. You can't find a tent like this ANYWHERE. The fly was a little difficult to figure out at first. The fly poles were difficult to fit in to their slots. We had to pull so hard, some of the stitching came out on the tabs. Other than the fly, we had no other problems!

Tent is great. Easy to setup and light for a 3 person tent.
