As other reviewers have noted, the sizing and fit on these is a bit odd. I ordered a size up and the fit is loose, but I got them specifically for gardening so wasn't too picky about the fit as long as they don't fall down. Pros: The material is very light and cool. They would be good for any outdoor activity in summer where the priority is sun protection/staying cool. Cons (other than size/fit): Pocket access is awkward because of the zipper placement, so the pocket is nearly useless. The fabric makes that "whoosh whoosh" snowpants sound when I move, which seems to be typical of woven nylon. On balance they work for my purpose but I cannot recommend these without reservations.

I really liked the light material these pants were made of - great for summer or warmer days. Nice casual style and feel. These pants were too small so I had to return them, but would have kept them if they were one size larger...but there were non available.

Too small in the thighs, too short, even for capris, and too large in the waist. The back of the waistband gaps out a couple of inches, while the rest is tight. Would be hard even to alter because of the topstitching on the seams.
