    This is a nice vest. It's warm and well made (and it should be for that price). The arm holes can be a tad snug if wearing thicker undershirts. The only other thing you need to be aware of is that it runs big in size AND it is very puffy/bulky. You will look like a big marshmellow dipped in food coloring.

    While I now live in the relative warmth of south Texas, I often travel in my work to the north country. I lived most of my life in a colder climate and am aware of what it will take to dress properly for the winter weather in the northern U.S.. This vest will be used primarily as an underlayer to my standard south Texas "winter wear". This vest appears to be of good to high quality and not at all bulky or heavy feeling.

    do not pay attention to the chest sizes. a medium fits like a mediun not 40-44. nice interior pocket doubles as a stuff pocket making this easy to stach in your pack if it gets chilly or for a nice warm-up when taking a break
