Sierra Designs Elara Down Coat - 550 Fill Power (For Women)

I bought this to wear in the New England winter. While it seems like a nice coat it does not fit me well. I am 5'3" and this was too long in the length and the sleeves seemed too short in comparison. I am going to return this item. I would recommend it to someone who is on the taller side with narrow shoulders. While I never got the chance to try it out in the cold weather it did not seem to be as warm as I had thought, maybe it is warm but just not bulky.

I am very tall and have long arms and the jacket still fits very well, it is lightweight and not to bulky. However I have not worn it in cold weather yet, but I assume it must be quite warm.

nice for shopping or errands in moderate climates.not for very cold weather because it is thinner.

I bought this for my sister, a large. It did not fit her even though she is short. She has a 44 bust line, and it was too small.

I looked for a light-weight, flattering, long, warm down coat for a while and this was a great find. I only wish it had a hood; however, I got a long cashmere scarf and and a big furry hat and they work great together for a whole ensemble. Great for my work attire as well as mountain wear.

Great coat. I got a medium rather than a small so I can wear it over snow clothes when kiteboarding.

I searched for a long down coat for years but everything was too bulky. This coat from [...] fits so well and doesn't make me look like a whale! The temps here in New England have been in the 20s but I'm toasty warm in my new coat.

This jacket is really nice and warm to about 0 F. At temperatures below 0 F, it is not quite warm enough, especially without the hood. Otherwise it is a really nice and lightweight jacket.

This is the ultimate choice for warmth in a lightweight coat. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it to any other down jacket junkies out there!
