“Breathable?”

“I bought these for tennis...to use as warm-up pants or for cool weather playing. The description stated they are breathable and waterproof, so I thought they would also be good for hiking in wet weather. I took them on the courts for some early morning tennis and found the fit to be comfortable. They fit over my tennis clothes very easily without being bulky. The inseam was just right...many times they're too long. The leg zippers allowed me to take them off easily without having to remove my shoes. The pants are light and packable, but I don't believe they're breathable. I cooked up a sweat pretty fast and had to take the pants off sooner than I planned even though it was still pretty cool outside. You really can't beat the price for a lightweight, packable rain pant, but I wish they were truly breathable.”
