    I read in some of the reviews that people were saying this jacket was too short. I have to agree. We decided to keep the jacket because it is so warm and perfect in every other way, but it is a tad shorter than we would prefer. It hits just above the belt, as opposed to just below. Other than that, we LOVE this jacket and are beyond pleased.

    Although others have found this coat to be short, I think it's perfect on my 5'4" frame. It is very comfortable and warm enough for upstate New York winters. I bought it in several colors because I was so happy with it.

    [...] It was too small and we returned it. The 2nd one is larger in the torso, but lacks adequate sleeve length. I also felt duped by the advertising. It seems like a winter coat by the descriptions online, but it was too light for Colorado weather. It might be ok for Fall, though.

    i bought this coat for a large, short man. the sleeves and overall length are probably too short for a size regular, but there are plenty of short men who would benefit from this coat. otherwise, it's very warm and comfortable.

    This jacket has the potential of being very nice - it's warm for its weight and is high in quality. Though, I think Sierra Designs botched the cut of this jacket. I'm 5'10", 165 lbs, with an athletic build. I have an SD down coat that fits me perfectly in all respects. This jacket, however, seems to have been built for someone with dimensions, other that what I listed, above. The sleeves are too short, the length is too short, and the width of the torso part is amazingly big. The jacket seems to have been built for someone short and wide, which is very odd, coming from SD. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't buy this jacket again. I probably should have gotten a refund, but I needed a jacket for daily use, so that I didn't wear out my mountain gear.
