    The jacket arrived today. I was hoping that the comments about a wierd fit were not true for me but they were. It seems narrow in the shoulders and really wide in the hips. The quality and loft are good but I will be returning it on Monday.

    I read all the reviews about this jacket having a short cut and a bell shaped, and they are true. I am 5'7" and stocky. I went a size bigger based on reviews and purchased a 2xl. It fit in the shoulders, but is uncomfortably short. What's worse is the first time I tried to tighten the draw strings at the waist, one broke.

    I have been wearing this jacket several times since I received it 10 days ago. It's warm and comfortable with lightweight. I read many other reviews before I ordered this jacket. It's size is different from others, ie. one size smaller. Therefore, I ordered size XL even though I normally take size large on others. I am glad that it fits me well now.

    Kept me warm in cold, windy conditions (light snow, 40s, gusting winds) while climbing and hiking. Fit is perfect for a shorter torso. Very lightweight. Not as compactible as some, but still stuffs easily into a pack.

    Light and comfortable. Has the basic bells and whistles. Zips up real nice. Nice light weight jacket to bop around town doing errands. I don't expect it to be waterproof or repellent, but works well in damp fog.

    Before you read too far...I returned this jacket. It was unfortunate that I had to return it but the fit was strange. I read other reviews that said this jacket was short and that it got wider at the bottom. Both are true. I typically wear a medium and got a large on this jacket. The length was not the problem. It hits right at the waist. The problem was the width of the jacket at the waist. For some reason they designed the jacket to flare out at the bottom. They waist has two drawcords that help cinch in the width, but because of the length of the jacket it blouses at the bottom. The is a high quality jacket and if you are a bit rounded in the mid-section, this is the jacket for you.

    This jacket is really nice, great fit, not too bulky but very warm. I got it to wear under a ski shell on cold days but now I wear it all the time. For the price it is a fantastic item, as good as other jackets I have that were way more expensive. Want to go out when it is cold, wearing only a t shirt under and not look like the michelin man, get one of these jackets.
