    Great jacket for the price. It is cut short..about hip length, but I didn't buy it for fashion. I wanted a puffy, down, very warm jacket for mountain cold weather and winter camping. This jacket stuffs into it's own pocket and is light w/ a great fabric. Sleeves are bit short when I reach arms out straight, but otherwise will work just fine. It is roomy in chest, but not too big. I got a L, and am 5'8" and 140 lbs.

    As soon as you put this jacket on you can feel the down keping you warm, without feeling too bulky. I bought this jacket for an overseas trip and am pleased to see that it will compact down to fit into a gallon ziplock.

    This is my second down jacket from Sierra Designs. I love it - warm, light weight - perfect for every day use here in Maine. Not water proof though - so if going to be in wet weather, need to wear a shell over it. My last jacket lasted several years, the zippers to the pockets broke - the jacket itself was still fine.

    The length of this jacket is too short. I do not have a long torso and if I lifted my arms even a little the jacket was hiking up above my natural waist. (A pet peeve of mine with jackets.) For the price, and for those with very short torsos who don't plan and moving much in this jacket- it probably works great. Good quality.

    Glad I read other reviews and noted that the sizing was smaller than usual. Got the next size up and it fits snugger than I thought that it would. I need to be able to wear a skivy underneath which it will just do. Not a big person 5'3" slim build but needed Large size, still short down the back.

    DON'T EXPECT THE MOST FLATTERING FIT BUT THIS JACKET IS VERY WARM AND THE ELASTIC WRIST HELP TO KEEP OUT THE COLD. A LITTLE TIGHT AROUND THE CHEST AREA FOR THOSE WHO ARE A LITTLE MORE WELL ENDOWED. BIGGEST DOWNSIDE IS THAT IT IS KIND OF SHORT. WHEN YOU BEND OVER, YOU MAY GET SOME BREEZE.
