“Minimalist Weight!”

“This is a super lightweight jacket, great for my attempts to backpack minimalist style. I was looking at Golite's Virga jacket at 7.4 ounces, but it is $80! So this deal was too great to pass up... I ordered XL in order to layer over mid-weight layers, but I normally wear a M so it's hard to say if the sizing is right. I would err on the side of upsizing. When I tried it on at home, it is not too noisy and the hood stayed up nicely with reaching and bending... I don't know what wind would do! Took it with me hiking last weekend, but didn't use it (no rain!). It's so light and small, about the size a and weight of a mini pringles can.”
