Reviewed by Snacktime from Atlanta, GA on Tuesday, June 16, 2009This is a good item to have around for mild, wet weather. However, it is NOT waterproof, and it is NOT breathable. It will not keep you safely dry in cold, rainy weather. In hot, rainy weather the condensation inside the jacket makes me just as wet as if I were not wearing a jacket at all. BUT for those in-between times, when rain pops up, it can be handy to have in the glove compartment. It is quite durable & stands up to abrasion well. Comfortable, lightweight, good fit. Just don't count on it to be a part of your safety equipment in the backcountry.
