Sierra Designs Mountain Down Booties - Waterproof, 700 Fill Power (For Women)

I got these booties to use for fall/winter camping. They are not as light or packable as other kinds of booties, but the soles are made up of EVA foam instead of fabric so they should last a lot longer. I wouldn't use them to hike in or for walking the dog, but lounging around camp or getting the newspaper are where they shine. The sizes listed here don't seem to correspond with the packaging, but the boots seem to fit well. They might be a little big, but I plan to wear pretty heavy wool socks with them anyway.

Definitely not for serious cold weather.

I am planning to take them with me to Alaska in March. Not only do they have a ard sole but are light to pack. I'm planning to wear them inside the hotel. Don't think they'd be too suitable in the snow !

Wear these with a pair of wool socks and my cold feet are transformed into warm glows of toastyness. Great at keeping feet warm, but also breathe well. Use for only very short forays outside. Wear inside mostly. Should pack well for camping/backpacking. Light, warm, wonderful!

I am going to use these for camping and thats why I love the fact they have a substantial sole. And are super warm and stylish and light as a feather. Whats not to love. Will be looking at this brand in the future.
