Reviewed by Sue from Chicago on Wednesday, May 15, 2013This mug has great thermal insulation. drinks stay HOT. no heat transfer through to outside and it does not leak a drop of liquid which gives me confidence to have it in my bag with other water sensitive items. Great design.

Reviewed by Lady London from Europe on Sunday, April 21, 2013Bought these for years including from STP. They hold up, don't leak. The occasional ding only adds to its personality ! Just a tip for those who thought some of their lids might not fit exactly on these. When you close the lid, first insert it then turn it into the opening as though you were OPENING the lid - yes this is turning it a few times in the "wrong" direction. You will find this squares the lid in the bottle and has a much better chance of giving you a perfect screw-in when you then stay there are screw it closed in the "right" direction after first having gone in the "wrong" direction. Difficult to describe, but these don't leak and Sigg would change the lid for you in a heartbeat if it did. This way just gets you the best possible closure if you want to be sure.

We were both extremely impressed with the design and I did test the claim the it keeps liquids hot for 6+ hours and I am happy to say it did a great job, much better than any other thermos I have had. Unfortunately, for my husband, he found the mugs smooth sleek lines not "manly" enough for him. That's OK with me, it just means I get to keep both :-)
