There were not any instructions as to how to even set the watch time, let alone figure out the instructions for setting up all of the detailed workout programs. This was a first devise of this type, so maybe it was fine for somebody that has programed these things before, but not user friendly for a 1st timer.

The watch has very nice features with training zones, walking test, etc. However, after using it for a couple of weeks, I finally gave up and returned the unit --- The dial is too hard to read if your older (I'm 54). I could not figure out how to use it just to read you HR (without entering a trainging zone)- I'm an engineer. Finally, it kept losing the HR in the middle of a run. The Polar RS100 is a much better watch for my purposes for the same general price and much easier to use. It has a much larger display, better backlignt and has not lost the HR once.

You MUST read the manual. Seems accurate for HR. I haven't had it enough to figure out how to do much with it other than get my heart reate. For the price, a good buy.

The big selling point for this particular watch was that it has Average Heart Rate for an exercise. Many in this price range do not.
