These replace my old worn out Simms boots. I fish at least twice a week and my old ones lasted five years. This is a wonderful price.

These are a bit bigger, with a stiff upper as compared to some other Simm's boots. Will have to add extra pair of socks...not a big deal.

Simms products are top of the line. The Freestone is not the Simms top of the line boot, but still one of the best buys for the money. I use them flyfishing for steelhead in Wa state. They are great.

These are Simms economy boot but are comfortable and well made like most of Simms products. Unlike their more expensive boots however these have a turned out rather than the trimmer turned in sole attachment. This makes them too big to use with my Korker studded sandals that I was able to wear with my two previous pairs of Simms boots. They are also heavier than my old Simms guide boots and significantly heavier than their light weight boots.
