    This is an excellent jacket. You can tell that it is of the highest quality. My only complaint is that it is a little bulkier and bigger than anticipated. But that can be nice if you are wearing multiple layers beneath it on a particularly cold day.

    As described, this jacket is designed for and serves excellently for fishing and other activities where one is apt to be out in the elements doing light to moderate things. Top notch quality! with really nice features. I teach windsurfing, other kinds of boating, fishing, and hiking and this jacket is perfect.

    I spend a lot of time at the beach, in all kinds of weather, including teaching windsurfing. This jacket is just wonderful! I'm so glad I found it, AND in my size. Fantastic! It does it all.

    All of the SIMMS products that I have purchased have been terrific, and this one adds to the collection. I couldn't resist the sale and bought the jacket for myself, a man (in a size up), & it is perfect. Doesn't look girly, either, more unisex in design. Wide enough for covering my fly fishing vest full w/all pockets loaded down... can't do that with my packable Orvis jacket. I have worn this jacket for a month, now: fly fishing, rainy weather casual, and hunting/fishing combination. Jacket is quite warm for only a shell-jacket. It is not a light weight rain jacket; so, it is not my 1st choice for a packable - but, possible. Full of pockets & other features for fly fishing! Nice for even larger fly boxes. I love the nipper on the outside, and during rain I can just cut my tippet without having to unzip jacket to get into my fly vest. Great saltwater fishing jacket on the gulf coast (in winter) fishing for red fish & specks using without a vest - just loaded the jacket with a large fly box, attached nipper on outside of jacket, roll of tippet in a pocket & forceps clipped to jacket - almost too easy! Hint, found jacket "itchy/scratchy" with just a short sleeve shirt. So, recommend wear with long sleeves. In 1 month of fishing, found nothing bad about this jacket, so far.
