“Toe box collapsed, could not use”

“Bought this boot at full price, it was great for a while, but afteer 6-10 trips, the toe box collapsed, and when it dried, it dried with a curling that made the toe box so small, I could not get my foot in the boot. No amount of conditioning, wetting, working the leather could get the curl frozen in the leather to come out. The leather at the toe box became like iron, and was too small to fit the foot in...making it unusable...sent it to Simms where the nice folks replaced the boot and the new version (not in leather) has worked fine...but I would not recommmend this older version at all”
