Even with the move away from felt to rubber, Simm's felt compound still outperforms the so-called "sticky rubber" surfaces, and outwears most of the lower end felt soled wading boots. Love the width and toe-box shape ... great for big feet!

GREAT wading boot! I wondered if the cost of quality boots really made enough of a difference to justify the expense, and I'm happy to report that they were worth every penny. I would definitely do it again! These are comfortable from day one, and are showing no signs of wear after several uses. You don't need to size up from your street size for these - plenty of room in the toe box for thick socks and stockingfoot wader socks. Maybe a little too much room over the arch, but they're not hiking boots, so I don't expect a perfect fit. The synthetic material uppers really do make cleanup a breeze. Don't transport aquatic hitchhikers - clean your gear between watersheds! Great job, SIMMS!

Just got back from a 5 day float trip that involved lots of getting out of the boat and wading/guiding the boat thru shallow sections on a limestone river bottom minimal wear visible after this extreme abuse.

The most comfortable wading boots I've ever worn right out of the box! Highly recommend.
