It probably should be considered a light weight rather than midweight thus the 4 rating rather than the 5, but I am very impressed with its overall comfort, looks, and style. Highly recommended with the understanding it's not quite midweight.

Fit is perfect for either lightweight base layer or light outlayer. Color and comfort as expected from Simms. Fabric appears sturdy, have not had it long enough to gauge to assess longevity.

Very functional fishing shirt. Good for layering because its so lightweight and breathable. 1/4 zip is good for ventilation if needed & the wicking properties are top-notch Simms quality. Great shirt at an even better price!

I purchased this as a layer for the cold days our on the river while flyfishing. It is a great layer, because when the weather warms up, you can strip down to this and still stay warm and stylish. A good purchase!

This is a nice base layer and is OK on it's own if it is warm. The top is not as warm as several other base layers I have. For a light weight top this one is nice.

Bought for a trip to Maine in early summer,as a layer beneath waders/jacket. Typical Simms quality with a couple of nice touches: the flap at the top of the zipper (reducing chafe); the Lycra on the lower sleeves; the zip pocket, accessible high above wader tops. Cold/wet weather will be the ultimate test.
