Simms Windstopper® DL Vest (For Men)

You can't beat any Simms product and at this price this is one of the all time great deals on STP!

This is a pretty good vest. Obviously, the Windstopper makes this warmer than polartec 200 in the wind, but on a still, cold day, the polartec is the better choice. The zipperless slash pockets are a big disappointment in a vest at this price point. For the same reason, it should have at least one interior zippered pocket. As to cost, this is really expensive at retail, as compared to most other Windstopper vests, so much so you would think it had been made in the US. Unfortunately, it's another product made in China which makes me believe the markup is unusually high.

A thin vest, not bulky under my waders and it stops the wind dead on!

Nice vest...lightweight but windproof, well made its a good layer to have.

Great balance of warmth and weight. Perfect sizing.
