The WIndstopper fabric does exactly what it says it does. The fit is snug and secure, but not too tight (I wear a 7 5/8 ball cap). The result of this is very little (if any) wind and cold sneaks in on the edges. This has become my go-to hat for both fishing and skiing in bad weather.
