“Bought this for use mainly on glaciers in New Zealand. Swings pretty easily and goes into the ice without splintering too much away. Nice comfy grip.
The removable leash mounts are high up, which means you get quite a bit of movement without taking the leash off (A good thing), but when you do remove the leash the clip is on the end of a longer piece of tape, which means they are a bit harder to get back into your hand to clip back in (compared to a mid-shaft mounting leash, where the clip falls pretty much into your hand.”
