Very tough crampons

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have used these a few times in rugged terrain in snow deep enough for snowshoes. They gave me excellent traction and even acted a little like snowshoes in the sense that they kept me from falling into the snow. They're reasonably lightweight and they dont slip. Only complaint is that they are a little cumbersome to take off if you have gloves on. Otherwise, an excellent product.
