I've used these crampons once with AT boots for spring skiing. They are a "beefy" aluminum (better than I expected), light, and did not pick up any snow (unlike another climber's crampons on the route). These are great for climbing hard snow. I gave four stars only because of my limited use of the product.

Nice product for basic to intermediate mountaineering. Not ultra-lite, but not massive and bulky. Easy fit and adjustability. No snow packing up underneath. I would definitely recommend these if you don't want to spend a lot, and don't plan on vertical ice climbing.
