“Thanks to this design of carabiner, the fighting to get the attached pro off your rack at the crux is now over. It seems that on 2 out of 3 difficult climbs, you struggle with getting a piece off your rack and into the rock, before your fingers give way or your large toe cramps up. This additional struggle is all due to the tab/hook part built into the nose of most other regular biners. The tab/hook part is nonexistent on this particular design from Simond. I always believed someone would design a hookless biner, and it's now here - only took 20 years of waiting.”
