So easy to use, on and off of bolts and rope, no more struggling to release the tension to clean routes

I picked it up because of its interesting design. The added jaws actually dont get in the way of normal opperations and are useful to tie off the device

Bought this for use mainly on glaciers in New Zealand. Swings pretty easily and goes into the ice without splintering too much away. Nice comfy grip. The removable leash mounts are high up, which means you get quite a bit of movement without taking the leash off (A good thing), but when you do remove the leash the clip is on the end of a longer piece of tape, which means they are a bit harder to get back into your hand to clip back in (compared to a mid-shaft mounting leash, where the clip falls pretty much into your hand.

I use this in kayak to secure, tow or connect. I carry this product for emergencies as well. Good product and works well if you need one to add to a smaller order to pad it some.

We were missing a biner from a quick draw and bought this a replacement. Its very well designed and lightweight. If I need more biners, I would buy some of these.

Solid and proven design that has been around since 2003. Great to see Simond are still in the Chamonix area and have not outsourced their manufacturing to China.

I didn't get this item for climbing per say. But it would make an excellent lead climbing carabiner. Simple. Light. Well designed. Good for about any use withing its load capacity that you does not require a locking function.
