    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    You need a size larger than your actual size, plu you need longer toes to hold on. If you have a wide foot or a high instep, don't buy these. These hurt my big toes, this area is very tight. The material (straps) is also very scratchy and uncomfortable.

    These are some of the handsomest flip flops I have owned. They are very comfortable and look great. The only issue I had was the break-in which took a couple of days. The thong was a little thick and stiff at first and hurt between my toes. Now they are FANTASTIC!

    Look great with jeans, seem to be comfy. Straps feel like they might chafe a little since they are new but am hoping that will mellow with use. They were a close-out so got as close to my size as possible...could have used a half size smaller but they'll work. Don't even recall whether half-sizes were an option. They are not in many things which is a drag.
