I was really excited when I purchased these. they are adorable and thought I found a good deal. But no. The back of the shoe, which comes up over the heel, is cotton only. So, the shoe is extremely difficult to put on a toddler. There are two layers of fabric- outside and an inside layer which shift, making the process maddenning. When you finally get the shoes on (there's no way my child can do this independently, though he can for all other shoes), they fall off. It's a cycle I have grown to hate, as has he. So much for recycling- these suck and we're tossing them.

We love these shoes. They fit well and we haven't had any problems with them slipping or falling off like others have, but my 2 year old has pretty wide feet. He loves them and calls them his "cool shoes." No experience washing them yet, though I probably will soon.

Easy on, easy off. These are the first hard-soled shoes my daughter has worn (had been wearing Robeez). They are super cute and she seems to really like them, even though they are still a little big on her. As the temperatures dip, I will probably not use them as much until spring (if they still fit) because they are not made of materials for winter. Love these.

This review is on style alone. Since I was ordering for my grandson and didn't know what size he wore, I ordered them on the large side. As expected, they are just a bit too big, but definitely keepers. They are adorable. The green rubber toe cover makes them look like little Hobbit shoes.
