“SMALL.....”

“I am 50 years old and have always worn an 8 - 8.5 SHOE size; though I have worn 9's in some tennis shoes, skates, boots, etc. It amazes me how often STC gets their sizes wrong or how REVIEWERS mark "Feels true to size" when they are clearly not. These shoes run like some tennis shoes/boots and are smaller than size marked and a bit narrower(not that much narrower - just a bit)so I would definitely order a FULL size larger. Since STC charges for returns it can get expensive ordering shoes from them when the sizes are not as advertised. I have loved all their shoes and have never returned the ones fitting my normal shoe size... but I have to think twice these days about ordering shoes and the cost of returning shoes mismarked by size.”
