These shoes are overall a good value and use of eco-friendly materials. More shoe manufacturers should follow Simple's innovative lead. However, the footprint of the sole is too narrow for a person with wide feet because it gives the shoes a small, narrow feel, as if you're "walking the plank." The shoe also does not have much arch support for someone with high arches. Nevertheless, I would recommend them over a shoe like Converse All-Stars or traditional old school Vans.

I bought these shoes to be worn with shorts in the summer w/o socks and they fit the bill. While they don't enrapture your foot like a custom shoe, they fit very well and are quite comfortable with no foot rub points to report. If you want a casual bumping around town shoe, this is a good one. It is off white enough to not be obtrusive and doesn't look like it's brand new.

I love the shoe, but unfortunately it came with two small stains on the fabric of the toe.

I bought these for my 17 year old son and they are very unusual styling, but he likes them. They are wider than maybe a normal shoe, which is good for him. They have neat little dimples on the sole that sort of massage your foot, and the sole is a cork bed that looks like it will form to your foot and give more support. We got these for being on his feet a lot while traveling in Europe this summer and we think they will fit the bill nicely.
