I am rounder through the middle and found the waist to still be a little loose and it became looser and the chamois saggier with wear. Became difficult to climb on and off the saddle without being caught in the padding. Like that the skirt was a little longer but I probably should have returned for a smaller size.

I think they tend to run a little big. I'm 5'7" and weigh 120. I got an XS and there's a little extra room in the waist. Great padding. The Cruiser skort is a better length for me but has inadequate padding for longer rides. (Cruiser is shorter.) Great price on STP.

Reviewed by Stretch from Pasadena on Friday, December 07, 2012I was all excited about this skort, because it's so nice to have a "coverup" when I'm stopping for a meal on a tour, or going into a church, etc., but this one is just too crummy. The padding looks great (assuming it holds up), but the slinky, thin, nylony fabric is definitely not suitable for public viewing, and the pink color is just too violent for me. The idea is really fine, and the inside pocket is real handy. I hope they make these in better fabric, with perhaps a couple of inches more length, soon.

This is a cute, well padded alternative to biking shorts that allows me to enjoy the sport without feeling overexposed. I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase and the price was great. I also love STP's prompt delivery and on line assistance.

They are great for that purpose The only problem is that the shorts material is too thick for hot or warm days. I am only 5'2", and it is several inches above the knee, so if you are taller than me you need to have to be comfortable with your legs.
