Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Holly from Massachusetts on Friday, March 21, 2014its a nice piece and seems well made. I was a bit dissapointed with the panels in the crotch area. I thought I could wear this as a running short. The design on the leg indicated to me that it could be worn this way. However, it looks too much like girdle underwear to wear as a short
Reviewed by Mom O'Plenty from Texas on Thursday, January 23, 2014I ordered these shorts along with a Speedo swim top for a sporty, modest post-partum suit this coming summer. When not pregnant, I'm a small; after reading the other reviews, I ordered a large. As far as leg girth, I probably should have gotten a medium, but I'm happy to have the extra tummy fabric for the in-between months. :)
In general, these shorts are very comfortable. They are thicker than running shorts/tights and have enough chamois padding to ride a bike. Even so, they aren't too much bulk for swim bottoms.
I appreciate STP's numerous swim options & encourage anyone who wants to move freely to look into the sportier pieces that offer more coverage.
Reviewed by Rt from Decatur, GA on Saturday, October 5, 2013This is my first pair of tri shorts. I know the chamois' are very thin, but this is basically a double layer of the shorts material. It's not felt like many are.
I haven't exercised in them yet, so hoping these will be comfortable. Surely, the chamois will not get in the way on the run! It's probably fine for a sprint distance bike ride, but anything longer and would not be good.
Reviewed by bldesmith from Pekin IL on Monday, August 5, 2013Go one size up and it's a perfect fit! So far no chafing.
Reviewed by Taylor from California on Monday, July 29, 2013I was concerned about buying cycling shorts online, but these fit GREAT. They feel good, and I'm looking forward to using them in my next triathlon.
