I like the size of the chamois pad. it isn't so big that it feels like a diaper but still provides some padding from the seat.

This is my second pair of these, mainly just wear them for triathlon training. They are a great length and right amount of padding. And STP is great! I usually wear a medium but can wear a small in these.

I really liked these shorts -- great fit, nice and handy pockets. They would've been perfect had it not been for the very scratchy stitching around the crotch panel. Another reviewer mentioned this too but I decided to take a chance. Sadly, I knew they'd bother me greatly so back they went. I have numerous skirt sport skorts and tops -- all from STP -- so this was disappointing.

Perfect shorts for swim, ride & run. Even for the gym. Very comfortable. Snug enough without feeling tight around thighs & waste, moves with your movements. The pad is thin but gives enough protection even for the longer rides. Seems to be holding up after poolswims too even though I mostly swim in the lakes.

GREAT short! But its not chamois, it is an extra padded section in the crotch, but not as padded as gel shorts. The stictching around this pad is a bit scratchy, which I am hoping will wear off with washing and wearing. Thighs are not too tight for once! But still grippy.

    • Cons: Uncomfortable Stitching

I used the shorts on a training run & I ended cuts/chaffing on my cheeks where the chamois pad is sewn into the shorts. I'd have to wear boy shorts or another pair of shorts underneath to wear them again. I sadly returned them, because I own 2 of the ultra gym girl skorts & LOVE them, but they don't have the chamois gusset design in the crotch area. I would recommend this product, but it's not for me because I have a weird shaped rearend & goofy running stride due to cerebral palsy on the left side of my body.
