these socks are the best! A great deal and I love them. I got a couple matching pairs in case the dryer eats one as dryers seem to do occasionally...and I love them!

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Colorado Kris from Colorado on Sunday, June 19, 2016I have a size 8 foot but get ski socks in a size S because when I put on my ski boots they push the heel up and a size S heel ends up in the right place.

Reviewed by Josie O from Portland on Sunday, February 21, 2016I have never seen socks wearout as quickly as Smartwool socks, and the over-the-calf for women are the worst. I have this color and several others I have purchased from STP and literally they all have worn out in the heel with in three to five washings. So now I just cut the feet off and use them as leg and arm warmers, but I won't be buying again.
Answer I wear a size 9.5 to 10.5 shoe / boot. I definitely recommend large women's (and even extra large, if you ever find it) at any shoe size over size 9. Most wool socks shrink with washing (I throw mine in the w. machine). I do have some 'medium' wool socks, but after washing it becomes a very tight fit.
Answer For Women - Small (4-6.5), Medium (7-9.5), and Large (10-12.5)
