Not expecting factory secondsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from NC on Thursday, August 11, 2016We did not expect to receive factory seconds on this order, but the actual socks have the word "Irregular" dyed on them. I just went back and looked at the item on the website and there is one little spot that says "2nds". I would not have known what that meant if I did not get the socks and realize they were factory seconds. If I ever shop at Sierra Trading Post again, it will be with a sense of suspicion. I think an honest seller might even note that the product is a second in the title so everyone knows what to expect.

I love that they're not too thick on the soles (SmartWool has other styles if that's what you're looking for). I also love that they come in a size small because a lot of socks with generic sizing are too large (I wear a 6-1/2 to 7 in an athletic shoe). These socks last and last, and being wool, are odor resistant. The prices at STP are the best, too!

Daughter wanted no shows. I know performance socks keep my feet warm and dry in the winter and cool and dry in the summer. From the description of the socks, they should be adequate to meet her needs and my quality requirements. Otherwise, I would not have purchased them.

Only worn a few times but the socks are a snug, perfect fit and don't smell! (I wear a size 8 and have a narrow foot and the medium socks are a good fit. If you wear a 9/9.5 you may want to size up.)
