These are perfect socks for summer! Will be taking them on a Puget Sound boat camping cruise next month. Because they have no cushioning, they will dry quickly. Because they are wool, they won't cause blisters. Wish there were more colors in my size. Got the orange ones that were left, and I don't even care how bright they are. Besides, a visibility color is good for being out on the water and needing to keep everything stowed at all times -- I can find them easily in my duffel.

I'm hooked on Smartwool for running socks. These are great for me, they have no cushioning, which I prefer. These go about an 1.5" above the ankle and have been great so far for 40-60F temp runs. There is no weird seaming on the toes. I am normally sensitive to wool but have zero issues with these. And amazingly there is no stink after even long runs?!

SmartWool is a superior product. I wear these socks when I exercise in the gym and when walking trails and when I work. They have a perfect fit, never slip and have good cushioning. We can never tell that these socks are seconds.
My husband used the men's light hikers in combat in Iraq rather than the heavier wool and polyester sock the Army issued. They performed so well that since, we have become a family of smartwool sock consumers for most of our sock needs.
No other retail outlet whether online or behind a store front has better prices on SmartWool socks than Sierra trading Post.
