We love these thumbless mittens from smartwool. They are so easy to get over our baby's hands and you don't have to worry trying to fit small thumbs into a regular mitten thumb hole. They are also great because they don't fall off easily, they go on easy but fit nice and snug. Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ice Climbing Adventurer from Michigan on Thursday, December 4, 2014LOVE this hat and mitten set for my 8 month old, but the had runs a little on the small side. It probably won't fit him through the entire winter. The mittens are perfect though. No thumb holes makes them very easy to get on.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by bordermom from WI on Wednesday, November 12, 2014A warm hat for my new grandbaby!!! I just love Smartwool and was very happy to see this offered at STP.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Carrie from Minnesota on Monday, October 27, 2014I really like this set for our son. The hat is especially warm and seems like it'll fit him for at least a year. (He's 1 1/2 now.) The mittens fit well, too, although they don't have separate thumbs, which makes it a little harder for him when he's playing.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by sylviandavid from Eureka, California on Monday, October 20, 2014We bought this had for our grandson, River. It looks darling on him. Our daughter loved the little design .... said it was a good boy hat.
The mittens didn't get tried on but we are certain they will serve him well.
Reviewed by PDX from oregon on Thursday, November 14, 2013both the mittens and hat are true to smartwool quality.
We really like that the mittens dont have thumbs! so we dont have to try and convince the 3 month old that his thumb should go in there.
