I had to reinforce them on with a second pair of different brand socks over top. Very disappointing from smart-wool as this design is not very smart- clearly not designed by anyone who has dressed a baby. I give smartwool one star for attempting baby socks- but hope they go back to the drawing board. The good news is the 6-12 month size smartwool sock fits younger babies and that size is designed to stay put!

For those who complain that they don't stay on newborns' feet, what socks do?! We put these on our son's feet over socks or footed pants/jammies for added warmth in the winter - worked great!

However, since they have no form to them, they essentially slip right off her tiny little feet. Hopefully the larger sizes I purchased stay on better.

Seems they are running on their name and attractive styles anymore. I purchased these for my grandson, but they wouldn't stay on his feet. May work over another pair of socks for warmth.
