SmartWool Cozy Socks (For Women)

I like these socks--they are soft and cozy and warm--and the colors are fun--but because they are a little looser cut--they slip down--so there is extra at my toe and the heel is closer to my arch when I'm jsut walking around the house without shoes. Haven't really worn them with shoes yet.

I wear them around the house, they keep my feet warm and they are very soft. The sock are thick so when ware with normal shoes, feel too tight. But since they are soft, it was not too bad and they keep my feet warm and dry.

I bought these socks for my sister-in-law who is a Smartwool afficionado, and she got me hooked! These specific socks are great for around the house. I throw them in my suitcase when I'm visiting someone else's home to wear so I don't track dirt, etc. around their home with my shoes. Very warm, all the benefits of wool without the itch!

They came inside out, or so they seemed with the loops on the outside, so I turned them outside in. Perhaps that's what the 'seconds' is? The wool is fabulous, doesn't itch, and the lofty loops really make your feet "bouncy". The fit is good, I wear size 7 and the medium is just right. The only negative is after only one day, the heel part is pilled up quite a bit. I can't comment on the durability, but if it continues the heels will wear out pretty quickly. Can't really complain with the price, though.

I first thought the socks were a fantastic find due to softness and color- the perfect lounge around sock. That was until one sock developed a hole after only 12 hours of light use. I had purchased two pairs and the stiching was extremely variable at the toe end- some begging for hole formation and others looking like they had been repaired, while one looked fine.

I'm kicking myself I didn't buy more of these socks--they are unbelievably warm, luxuriously soft, and really cozy on my feet. [...]these are wonderful and well worth the price!

Smartwool makes the best socks in general, and these in particular are wonderfully comfy and are in unusual fun colors!

I wear these everyday at home and they are very warm and comfortable. Plus, since they're wool, they wick and keep my feet at a nice temperature. The only thing I don't like about these socks is that the serging at the opening has started to fray a bit, which may be due to the fact they're seconds.

I'm a recent convert to Smartwool socks, and these really live up to their name -- they're cozy, comfortable, and keep my feet warm. They're also unbelievably soft and keep my feet happy even when I'm on them all day, which I usually am. Itch-free wool breathes and warms all at once. Not sure how Smartwool does it, but they do. I'd wear these all the time if I could. Worth every penny, especially if you want your feet cushioned.
