As with all Smartwool clothing I've purchased, this is a very nice quality sweater. It's well made, the wool is nice and soft and the zippers are sturdy. Speaking of zippers, there are largish 7" zippers on the cuffs which are a little strange. In fact, the zipper pulls are dragging my laptop as I type this review. Also, the collar is bigger/wider/droopier than it looks in the picture...which isn't horrible, but just different than what I expected. Lastly, I've worn the sweater three times and there is some fairly substantial pilling on the arms and a little on the sides.
In terms of sizing, I'm 5'10, 135lbs and am sometimes a small and sometimes a medium in Smartwool. I got the sweater in medium so I could add a baselayer underneath and it's still a little large, but the sleeve length is perfect, so I'll stick with the medium.
