They seem warm, and are nice and stretchy (ie they fit her pudgy legs). Like all smartwool socks, they are not scratch at all. They are a little big for her at this point, but what can you do.

I ordered xs for my two year old and the foot part is a little big while the ankle part is tight. I hope that when she grows that they will fit her more appropriately. Wool socks have a tendency stretch and change through their life of washing and drying. I love wool socks though, these are great quality and a good price.
