When I got these socks I wore them for three days straight. My wife thought it was gross but at the end of the third day I took them off and they didn't smell at all. She even took a whiff and was pretty amazed herself. My feet sweat a good amount throughout the day and normally when I take my socks...

As much as i love the feel of it and the non smell of wool, after 3 months the bottom has started to wear down.. i got the black and grey color, but at the bottom, although cushioned and thicker than the rest of the sock.. its started to wear down. i give it 2-3 more months before theyre gone. thats just at the bottom. the rest of the sock is pretty good. i use these for hiking or normal wear or even business suit wear. gives it some kick.
for smartwool, i expected something that'd last a bit longer... my smartwool phd is in better condition, but of course its thicker all around.
These striped mens socks DO NOT say irregular. I bought two pairs. All in all I bought about different 10 pairs of smartwool socks and only one said Irregular (in giant letters). I left a review of those and returned them. But these socks are nice!
