I ordered the correct size for my foot but discovered that they were impossibly tight through the leg. I am average size and have never had a problem with knee socks being too tight, so this was a first for me. I had to return them & pay the postage.

I was disappointed w/the loose threads that were left on the inside of the sock when it was woven. They catch on your toes when you are putting them on. You cannot cut them because that would create a hole. Just have to be careful. Lightweight, more of a dress sock.
