This is a great set at an amazing price! And if your are a little worries about the look if it, don't worry! It's so much better in person and on our little girl! I love it! And so soft and warm!

I ordered the 18-24 month size. Quality of fabric was good, but runs small. My daughter is 18 months and is average to small in size for her age(head circumference is in the 30th percentile). The hat was tight and the mittens fit ok, but there were no thumbs. I know this is common for infant mittens and it worked ok when she was really young, but this 18 month old is all toddler and wants to use her hands and found it frustrating in these mittens. I sent the set back.

I bought the 12 - 24 month size for my 6 month old daughter. She is a little big for her age and I figured she could grow into the size. It fits her great. It's soft material and keeps her warm when we are outside or going to daycare in the morning when the car is still cold. Very nice!
    • Pros: Soft, Warm

I love Smartwool, and have enjoyed many of their socks, gloves and sweaters over the years. Wool is warm, even when damp, and Smartwool is not itchy. These baby hat/mitten sets just run small. ALso, STP lists as size 12 months what Smartwool calls 6-12 months. STP calls "24 months" what Smartwool labels as 12-24 months. I ordered both sizes for a tiny 11 month old, and even the larger size fits small.
    • Cons: Runs Small, Sizing mislabeled by STP
    • Pros: Cute Colors, Matching socks available, Warm wool no itch
