I am very pleased with the quality and feel of these socks. They are medium weight for good cushioning, but still fit in my shoes without making my feet feel claustrophobic. The tops are crew height and come about half way up my calf. (I'm a 5'5" female), and they stay snug all day. I have been very pleased with all of the SmartWool products I have purchased. (it's true, no itch)! This is another winner. I bought a pair in each color Sierra had to offer. I would recommend them.

I ordered these socks thinking that they were just on sale. Instead, they have IRREGULAR printed in large white letters across the sole. They are not terrible but they are falsely advertised. These irregulars sell at LL Bean stores for $6. If they were $6 on this site it would be a different story.

These are wonderful. The colors are good, and after wearing them all day the feet feel rested. What a difference good socks make.

Comfortable socks that seem a little thing. Durability is a concern, they seem like they are probably better for working in the office than hiking but only time will tell. Still a good deal on a fairly good product. I would look at Point6 for more durable and substantial wool sock.

These are just regular knitted wool and nylon socks, none of the performance features of the more tech-y Smartwool styles. Also contain more stretch material, making them better for people who like their socks to fit super snug. Held these up to my favorite old Adrenaline Hikers of the same size (large) and they were something like an inch and a half shorter in the toe. I hate feeling the ends of my toes pushing against the elasticity of my socks, so I sent them back. You couldn't go amiss ordering a size up with these--or even two, if you have claustrophobic toe-ends. With Itchless merino, they are still decent for the price.
