Very good just not as thick or cushoned as I thought they would be.

Like the natural fiber! Very soft and not itchy at all.

I probably have 20 pairs now. They are soft and extremely comfortable. The thick cushioning is the best money can buy. Perfect for any boots! There is no sign of any irregularity even though they are 2nds. The price at STP is too good to be true!

These socks are really nice and cushiony but lofty. They're thick but the thickness is mostly air. Although I haven't done much walking in them, they wouldn't be my first choice because I prefer something more substantial to fill up the space in my shoes and I fear they would allow my foot to develop blisters from moving too much. Having said that, they're wonderfully comfortable around the shop while wearing my safety shoes.

Use for hiking, snowshoeing

This is a great brand of sock. The quality is always consistent. When Smart Wool describes a sock as medium hiking, thats exactly how it performs. When they say casual don't use it as a hiking sock. They are very well built and I have found them true to size when you select socks that are gender specific. The socks that are listed as mens or womens are not as well fitted. Year after year I keep buying them. I have sampled others but these are the best.

These socks are extremely comfortable and do a great job at wicking away moisture. I once wore a pair for 4 days in a row of hard hiking in the Grand Canyon. They remained comfortable and (amazingly) did not smell like a dead animal. I now have 5 pairs!

I hike all the time and this is the best sock for doing that. I don't have anything else in my drawer.
