Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lmemck from McKinney, Texas on Tuesday, April 22, 2014Love these socks, they fit perfectly. When I first got them, I thought there's no way they are going to be warm, they're too light. Make no mistake, these socks are warm. The extra cushion at the bottom of the foot is amazing, the material doesn't sweat your foot, it's just a great sock. Thanks, another great find on Sierra Trading Post!!
Reviewed by Central WA hiker from Central Washington on Monday, April 7, 2014These are just as pretty as the photos show, but definitely run small (a medium fits like a size small). They also have IRREGULAR printed on the foot. They are more padded than I expected; they're more like medium-padded socks.
Question & Answer
“Is this a good SmartWool sock for cross country skiing? If not, what SmartWool sock lightweight would you recommend?”
I would recommend a sock meant for high aerobic activities like the SmartWool PhD Light Ski Sock. Here is a link,http://www.sierratradingpost.com/smartwool-phd-light-ski-socks-merino-wool-for-men-and-women~p~1943y/?filterString=search~smartwool-socks-women-%2F&colorFamily=10
