It seems very well-made, and the quarter zipper is perfect for regulating ventilation. Unlike with synthetics, there is no odor after exercising.

SmartWool products are always excellent - this zip neck provides extra protection against a biting cold wind and yet is not so air tight that you end up dripping hot at the end of your ride. The top looks great even without another layer. Stitching is great.
