Reviewed by Logan from Indianapolis on Saturday, January 11, 2014Not the best SmartWool Socks I have ever purchased. They are nice socks but not up to par with some of the others I have ordered. The insides after one wash fuzzed up a lot even though they were washed on gentle cycle and hung up to dry.
They seem to lack the comfy feeling that all other Smartwool socks do. I'll wear and wash them a few more times and see what happens. I may need to return them.
Reviewed by M from Skagway, AK on Thursday, January 24, 2013My favorite socks! I wear them pretty much every day now that it's cold out. I have 8 pairs - yay for STP discounts!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Biker from Berkeley, CA on Wednesday, August 29, 2012I still have the socks that made Smart Wool famous.
100% Merino Wool with exceptionally thick cushion
soles and with ZERO use of Lycra.
Smart Wool seems to have forgotten what launched it
into the sock stratosphere, making them the leaders
in the Merino Wool sock industry.
This sock is everything it should not be.
Time for Smart Wool to get Smart again.
We don't need socks that are so full of Lycra.
- Cons: Excessive use of Lycra, Much too tight at the top, Not Smartwools best
