In one single move, Smartwool has moved a basic underlayer into the spotlight in spectacular fashion. Bravo, Smartwool, for transforming ol' (as in the same ol' same ol') into ole!

These socks can go from clogs, to hiking boots to birkenstocks! I have LOTS of pairs and wear them with all types of my shoes. If I could figure out how to wear with heels and not look like a fashion faux pax I would!

I first wore SmartWool socks when hiking in the Amazn rainforest. These days my travels keep me closer to home, but I still rely on my SmartWool. They feel equally great inside my rubber rainboots or my leather shoes. These are nicely thin and a fun print. Just fantastic!

The SmartWool Margarita Socks are not irregular, they are closeouts. Some Smartwool socks we carry are irregular or 2nds.

Sierra Trading notes that they are seconds. But they are on your feet so who cares if there's a little blemish as long as they fit and are comfortable.

According to the description the M ranges from 7-9 1/2. These are the ones I buy for a size 9 shoe. They look pretty small when you get them, and I might order the L next time, but the M does fit me.
